The Author
Dr. Damien L. Duchamp is the Executive Director of Hospitalented.org, and has been teaching hospitality and tourism management since 2010. He was introduced to Ghana in 2014 and began traveling to the continent in 2016 to work on various tourism projects. Damien grew up in France and the United States, earning degrees from SUNY New Paltz, Clemson University, and Gwynedd Mercy University. His doctoral research at GMercyU was focused on tourism in Africa, entitled “Perceptions of the Hospitality and Tourism Industries by 18-24 Year Olds in Ghana, West Africa.”
